1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Participation («GTC») are intended to define the terms and conditions of participation in the Threat Intelligence Annual Conference® (hereinafter «the Event»), organized by the company Intrinsec (hereinafter «the Organizer»).
As the Event is free, these terms and conditions govern registration and participation, not a sale. Registration for the Event implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions by the Participant.
2. Nature of the event and registration
The event is a professional conference focusing on Threat Intelligence issues, aimed at a professional audience. Access is free, but requires prior registration via an online registration form hosted on Microsoft Forms (hosted within the European Union).
Registrations are nominative. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel any incomplete registration, any registration containing manifestly inaccurate information, or any registration made using anonymized or non-professional contact details.
3. Personal data (GDPR)
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable legislation, the personal data collected during registration is processed by Intrinsec, in its capacity as data controller.
Hosting and subcontracting. The registration form is hosted on Microsoft Forms, with Microsoft acting as a data processor. The data collected via this form is hosted within the European Union.
Purpose of the processing:
- managing registration and participation in the Event; ;
- sending practical information relating to the Event; ;
- the establishment of attendance statistics; ;
- where applicable, and subject to the Participant's consent, sharing with the Event's official partners (see below).
Data collected: name, surname, function, company, professional email address and any other field required by the form.
Legal basis: The processing of the Participant's data is based on their consent given by completing the Microsoft Forms form.
Sharing with partners. With the Participant's explicit consent, obtained via a dedicated checkbox (not pre-checked) during registration, certain data (name, surname, job title, company, professional email address) may be shared with the Event's official partners. These recipients are cybersecurity publishers and solution providers who are partners or sponsors of the Event. A complete and up-to-date list of these partner recipients is available upon request to dpo@intrinsec.com.
These partners may use this data for marketing purposes, to send promotional information, or to contact the participant in connection with their professional activities. The participant may withdraw their consent at any time.
Transfers outside the European Union. In the event that some recipient partners are established outside the European Union, the corresponding data transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards within the meaning of the GDPR (in particular the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission or any equivalent mechanism).
Shelf life. Data is retained for 12 months from the Event, unless otherwise required by law or with separate consent from the Participant to receive further communications.
Participant's Rights. In accordance with applicable law, the Participant has the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw their consent at any time. They also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL). These rights can be exercised by sending a request to dpo@intrinsec.com .
The Participant may at any time object to the processing of their data for marketing purposes, by contacting the relevant partners directly or via the unsubscribe link in their communications.
4. Modification or cancellation of the Event
Intrinsec reserves the right to change the date, location, program, or cancel the Event in the event of force majeure or any other event beyond its control. Participants will be informed as soon as possible using the contact information provided during registration.
5. Intellectual Property and Capture
The event may be photographed and filmed, and broadcast online. Participants will be informed of this during registration and on-site via appropriate signage.
The Participant may object to the use of their image by sending a request to contact@intrinsec.com Before or during the Event, areas without recording may be designated. Subject to the foregoing, the Participant authorizes the Organizer and its partners to use their image for communication purposes related to the Event and its future editions.
6. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute relating to their interpretation or performance, jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts of the district where the Organizer's registered office is located.
